The Elementary School day lasts from 7am to 5pm here. The preschool day is from 7am – 1pm. This little learner just put his head down for a moment to close his eyes in the heat of the day while teachers who are part of the Embrace Rwanda Canadian team visited his school. They are researching Rwandan Preschool/Nursery and Elementary/Primary public and private school programs and practices in the context of evaluating the school-readiness of children in Embrace Rwanda’s Early Childhood Education program, which now has 128 preschools around the country.
